Prose City Book Release Party for Invisible Violets
If you live in the Portland area and can’t make the main launch, or you just can’t get enough of me and my book, I’ll be doing a second release party event, this one with the Prose City community.
Date: March 21, 2026
Time: 2-4 PM
Location: SE Portland – because this event is hosted at someone’s house, they are asking for people to RSVP before they share the address
Event Description:
Join the Prose City community to celebrate Chrys Buckley’s debut book, Invisible Violets: A Mixtape in Lyric Essays from Wandering Aengus Press. Chrys will be sharing some reading (followed by a Q&A) from her memoir in essays on disability, music, memory, the creative life, albinism, otherness, and finding your voice.
We will also have the pleasure of listening to readings by other local authors and poets.
Light snacks, coffee, and tea will be provided.
